I welcome you to my digital home.
I invite you into my world.
It’s a world of kindness and care. This is the place for sensitive souls, and if you’re one too, then you’re in the right place. A comfortable and brightly lit space, like a cozy, well-lit corner of a home.
A space to explore and connect with others, to share stories and emotions, fears, and dreams. A workshop for personal writing and self-discovery, serene and tranquil.
This is the realm of my warm and sensitive heart, a place to pause and make room for beauty, love, and kindness.
The poet Alda Merini wrote: “I like people who know how to listen to the wind on their skin, to feel the scents of things, to capture their soul. Those who have flesh in contact with the flesh of the world. Because there’s truth there, there’s sweetness, there’s sensitivity, there’s still love.”
Alda Merini penned these words, but I could have spoken them as well, for they reflect me entirely.
Would you like to get to know each other better?
My name is Maria Amata Di Lorenzo, and for over ten years, I’ve been sharing my heart on the web.
Kindness and the desire to improve the lives of those around me through words inspire me. Words can be medicine and a tool for healing on a very intimate level, where our innermost selves are rooted.
As a writer, playwright, and screenwriter, writing and creativity have always held a significant place in my life.
I’ve been writing for many years, nurturing my literary vocation as an inner quest, an ethical and spiritual dimension, closely connected to the deepest yearnings of my soul rather than to certain commercial logics.
For me, writing is a moment of utmost freedom, pure happiness. It’s my natural state, where I feel completely in harmony with myself and the world.
I’ve worked for more than twenty years as a journalist and as an author and editorial consultant. I’ve also conducted creative writing courses. I’ve written fiction, poetry, and essays that have been published in ten languages to this day and are distributed in fifteen countries worldwide.
I love crafting stories to be told through words and images. My stories always convey profound emotions, reflecting my soul and raising questions about the mysteries of life and love.
I am the author of the novel “The Tiger of the Evening,” a story that opens up avenues for reflection on life and human choices through a unique legacy of love. Already translated into German, it’s about to be published and distributed in French, English, and Spanish as well.
The Roads of Life
My passions since childhood have been psychology and the stars, along with the mysteries encapsulated in the afterlife. This is because I sensed at a very young age the deep desire within me to transcend the superficial veil of things and to grasp life in all its mysterious complexity.
With a degree in Modern Literature and after studying at the School of Journalism in Urbino, I specialized in Marketing and Communication. At a certain point in my life, after various experiences in journalism, I decided to follow my heart and returned to school to delve into the field of so-called “helping relationships.” I studied psychology, coaching, counseling, natural medicine, psychobiology, and psychosomatics.
I also studied art therapy and expressive writing, with a particular focus on exploring and applying the transformative and therapeutic power of creativity for holistic development where body, mind, and spirit are in complete harmony.
Being a sensitive person and an artist brought a lot of suffering into my life due to misunderstandings and rejections. That’s why I now enjoy helping others live and express themselves with the full intensity of their hearts.
As an inner life therapist and creativity instructor, I teach people how to discover and harness their creative potential and the wisdom of their hearts for their spiritual growth, well-being, healing, and self-realization.
I guide creative women and sensitive men to cultivate their talents and express their uniqueness. With my words, care, and love, I assist others every day.
I’ve published many books and written countless stories, but what I love most is being able to help others become happier by uncovering and appreciating their spiritual and creative potential.
The place of sensitive souls
I believe in sharing and giving. It’s a foundational value of my entire life. To offer spaces of reflection and beauty to your mind and heart, I’ve opened my blog: it’s called “The place of sensitive souls.”
I created this web space to build bridges of friendship, which is why I also wanted to create my newsletter: “Words that Nourish the Soul” is the reserved meeting for infinitely sensitive and creative individuals who view the web as a gentle space to listen and express themselves.
I am a woman who seeks intensity in things and has a strong desire to engage with the world and make the sacred song of life shine within herself and others.
Step into my world on tiptoe.
